What I do, in the order it happens.
Four steps. Each one says what I do, and what I do not do.
Intake from mailbox, cloud and camera
You connect your mailbox with an app password or forward receipts to an address at my end. Google Drive or OneDrive and a photo from your phone work as well. Incoming e-invoices in UBL and CII I read directly.
What I do not do here:
I only read your mailbox. I write nothing there and delete nothing.
Recognition with a state
Supplier, date, amount, tax and category are prepared as a proposal. Foreign currencies are converted at the rates of the European Central Bank. Every line carries its state: a question mark waits for you, a check mark means recognised with confidence, a double check mark means confirmed by you.
What I do not do here:
Whatever I cannot read with confidence, I do not decide. It waits for you.
Writing invoices
Line items, standard taxation or the small business rule under section 19 of the German VAT Act, a PDF with embedded data to EN 16931, due dates and a paid check mark. Your own outgoing invoices are recognised in your mailbox as well.
What I do not do here:
Whether an invoice is correct for tax purposes I do not check. That stays with your tax advisor.
Reconciliation and handover
Bank entries come from sevDesk or as a CAMT file, and every match is a proposal. At the end of the month the package for your tax advisor is ready, with an index, the receipt PDFs and the posting batch for SKR03 or SKR04. Firms keep several books side by side.
What I do not do here:
I do not post anything. The posting batch is a proposal for your tax advisor to approve.
See it running on your own receipts.
You connect a mailbox, and the first receipts appear in the list a few minutes later.
Payment details are entered at sign-up. After 7 days the plan you chose carries on, from 19,00 € net per month. Until then you can cancel at any time at no cost.
Registration, contract, terms and the app itself are in German.
