Value added tax.
This business is subject to standard taxation (waiver of § 19 UStG).
Prices are understood as net amounts plus the value added tax owed by law in each case. For services taxable in Germany this currently amounts to 19 percent; cross-border B2B services are invoiced under the VAT rule applying to the particular place of supply.
Professional title and professional rules.
Bookkeeping assistance under § 6 no. 3 StBerG (German Tax Advisory Act). Scope of activity: mechanical operations, writing and calculation support on pre-coded documents. In addition: business consulting (operational level), digitalisation consulting, workflow automation.
Supervisory authority: the activity under § 6 no. 3 StBerG requires no licence and is not subject to professional supervision by the Chamber of Tax Advisors. The remaining activities (consulting, digitalisation, workflow automation) require no licence or admission either.
Note from 2027: should the activity be extended to independent posting under § 6 no. 4 StBerG, the professional information will be supplemented accordingly.
Professional indemnity insurance.
Insurer: Hiscox SA, German branch, Bernhard-Wicki-Str. 3, 80636 Munich, Germany. Territorial scope: worldwide. Sum insured: €1,000,000 per claim for financial losses, 3× annual aggregate. Insured activities: IT services (software development, automation) and management consulting.
In addition, general liability insurance with Hiscox covers bodily injury and property damage up to €5,000,000.
Trade registration.
The trade registration under § 14 GewO is filed with the trade office of the state capital Potsdam. The trade register number will be added once the registration has been completed.
Dispute resolution.
I am neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.
Liability and copyright.
Liability for content
As a service provider I am responsible for my own content on these pages under the general laws, in accordance with § 7 (1) DDG. Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, I am not obliged as a service provider to monitor third-party information transmitted or stored, or to investigate circumstances that point to unlawful activity.
Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general laws remain unaffected by this. Liability in that respect is possible only from the point at which a concrete infringement becomes known. Should I become aware of such infringements, I will remove that content without delay.
