ReceiptTrail is not a team and not an investor product. It is my own tool that turned into a product.
I am Béla Abel, a sole trader in Potsdam. ReceiptTrail grew out of my own bookkeeping: I no longer wanted to pull invoices out of e-mails at the end of every month. The system has been running for me and for my customers every day since July 2026. For one customer I read in 1066 old documents in two days at the start.
There is one mistake I do not want to keep from you. For a while the same invoice sat in my database three times, because I had used the date as the comparison key. The right key is the invoice number. Found, fixed, and the protection has held ever since. That is how I work: when something goes wrong I say so, and then it gets better.

How I work
I build it, I run it and I answer every message myself, as a rule on the same working day. If something goes wrong you hear it from me, not from a status page.
What I do not promise
No customer logos, no certificates I do not hold. The one figure about time saved on the start page is calculated in the open: 73 invoices from my own business in September, 4 minutes of manual work each. What the tool can do is on the features page, and what it does not do is on the start page.
